Children Study Centres

At the heart of our mission, we have continued to nurture a brighter future for underprivileged students through our successful study centres, providing participants with the resources and guidance they need to excel in their education. The study centres offer free coaching and a nurturing learning environment so that students both improve academically and are able to gain confidence and skills to build a brighter future for the society. BCN has had up to ten Study Centres in recent years with up to 171 students registered for the academic support.

Student Scholarship for Education

Students have been granted the opportunity to pursue their education with financial assistance through our Educational Scholarship Programme, which began in April 2016. The Scholarship Programme proportionately covers the cost of student books, stationeries, and tuition fees. Beyond scholarships, we have provided essential support, including daily mid-day meals, medical aid, ensuring that their basic needs are met. BCN's commitment to holistic development extends to organizing Parents-Teachers' meetings, fostering a stronger partnership between families and educators to enhance the quality of education.

Child Protection & Safeguarding

Creating a Safer World for Every Child Bengali Christian Network believe every child is a precious gift from God—worthy of love, dignity, protection, and the opportunity to grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Guided by strong moral values and a deep commitment to community service, we actively work to shield children from harm, exploitation, and injustice. Awareness & Empowerment Programs Over the past year, we have reached more than 200 school students through interactive awareness sessions focused on: Child Protection and Safeguarding The ill-effects of Child Marriage Risks of Child Labour Prevention of Child Trafficking These sessions draw from real-life experiences and incorporate legal awareness and life skills, equipping children with the confidence and knowledge to recognize risks, speak up, and seek help when needed.

Regular Awareness Programmes on child safe-guarding, child marriage, and child trafficking serves as a platform to educate both guardians and students about the severe consequences of child marriage and child trafficking, emphasizing the urgent need for preventive measures. BCN's commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children was evident in this initiative, aiming to empower the community with knowledge and resources to protect and safeguard the rights and well-being of the younger-generation.
