Community Leaders Development training for grassroots community leaders is held regularly in cohorts of 15-20 participants at up to 8 locations in recent years. The training is designed to create awareness, enhance leadership skills, and foster professional growth among participants so that the newly developed skills may be put into practice within the communities in which the leaders live. Many of the qualified candidates have been encouraged to begin Children and Adult Literacy Study Centres or other community service programmes.
